Waterfalls after torrential rains

The last week in June 2013, WNY received record amounts of rain. The City of Lockport and even northern Amherst experienced substantial flooding. Streets were flooded in Lockport, with people even using boats to navigate the streets.

I went to 3 waterfalls nearby a day or two after a week of rain. The first is my favorite, Glen Falls in Williamsville. The other two, Akron Falls and Indian Falls are near Akron, NY.

Glenn Falls in Williamsville is a scenic site where wedding parties go for picture taking.

Ellicott Creek

Ellicott Creek has many scenic areas. From Glen Falls to the Amherst State Park.
