Niagara vs Canisius hockey
Since Niagara University joined the same college conference that Canisius is in, the two have played back-to-back games each season. Last year, the two teams split and Canisius beat the Purple Eagles in the playoffs.
On Valentine's Day this year, Niagara visited Canisius at Buffalo State (where the Golden Griffins play their hockey) and Niagara won 4-1. Here's some pics I took of the game...

College hockey in WNY
The Canisius Golden Griffs played the rival Niagara University Purple Eagles in the opening round of their conference playoffs and Canisius upset the Purple Eagles, just like they did in their last matchup. Canisius won 6-3 to advance in their playoffs, knocking out Niagara.
