Canisius beats Bentley, advances in playoffs

Went to the Canisius vs Bentley (from Massachusetts) Saturday night. Canisius had beaten them 4-0 the night before, so Bentley had to win this game to stay alive. The Griffins scored two goals in the second, and held on to win 2-1 to advance. Here's the article about the game along with some pics I took.

Bentley had the coolest uniforms I ever saw. They were all black and the logo, a B, was designed so that it was barely noticeable. I think the Sabres should have something similar for their third uniforms.

 

 

 

Canisius vs Bowling Green hockey

It was the first weekend in the New Year and the NHL hockey lockout was still going full force. Where to get your hockey fix? At Buffalo State College where Canisius College was playing Bowling Green. It was an exciting game and ended up going into overtime. The game ended in a 2-2 tie. Canisius Hockey

I have been to quite a few Canisius Golden Griffin hockey games the past two years. On January 15 of this year, they hosted UConn. However, they lost 4-3.
