Memorial Auditorium

Buffalo's Memorial Auditorium is long gone, but not the memories. There are tons of memories associated with Memorial Auditorium. From the Buffalo Sabres first and last games there, the 1975 Stanley Cup Finals where the Sabres won an overtime game against the Flyers in the fog, to the Buffalo Bandits winning 3 championships there. There were the NBA Buffalo Braves, who had much success at the old Aud, as did local college teams and high school teams.

Below are pictures I took of the Aud before it was demolished and some of the demolition pics...

Ron Paul speaks at East Aurora

Ron Paul, who has a brother who lives in East Aurora, just outside of the city, gave a speech at the East Aurora American Legion Friday evening. I went there with my son and waited for him to arrive. He gave an excellent speech and I took some videos of the 2012 Presidential candidate.

After the rally, Congressman Ron Paul goes inside the East Aurora American Legion hall to mingle with the big crowd that attended his speech.

Hamburgh Beach

This is the view from the Hamburgh Beach. From there, you can see the windmills along the shore of Lake Erie at the foot of the old Bethlehem Steel plants.
